Civic and public art play an essential role in any community, offering a way for citizens to memorialize events and express themselves artistically. Public art provides color and character to shared spaces and increases the sense of neighborhood unity, bringing communities together and serving as a focal point and gathering spot.
With high-tech products like BRONZSTONE® and GLASS ART®, OM Stone’s artisans can create beautiful monuments and impactful civic art, with projects ranging from custom fountains to murals. Some of our work’s most distinctive features are its long-lasting color and highly customized appearance. In a piece of civic art, durability and uniqueness are critical features, and our products are designed to stand the test of time.

We began working on public art projects in the late 1980s when we partnered with artist Larry Kirkland.
Demand for our work quickly picked up and continues to this day. We provide concept development, fabrication, and installation, and we specialize in one-of-a-kind designs. Our projects can be seen across the country and a few are included below:
We specialize in creating exceptional artwork on any scale, from intricate, small-scale pieces to expansive civic projects. Our talented artists produce captivating designs that leave a lasting impression, drawing admiration and appreciation for years to come.
What truly sets us apart is our expertise in stone artistry. While many companies work with stone, our unmatched experience and dedication to quality enable us to produce civic art of the highest standard. Each piece we create reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and artistic excellence.
Some of the projects that have touched us deeply include monuments designed to honor our veterans and fallen service members. The subject of veterans is a personal one for us because several of our team members have served. Many of us come from families where military service was common.
Our founder, Gordon Bronleewe, was a WWII veteran. We’re humbled when we can work with Gold Star families and American Legion posts, and we treat projects involving veterans with the utmost respect and dignity.
We’ve worked on projects honoring vets who served in Vietnam, Iraq, Korea, and WWII. We feel there’s no greater privilege than to be able to give something back to those who have given their all.
Monuments and civic art that pay tribute to the men and women who’ve served our country are a way of preserving our history and our sense of community. We’re passionate about being a part of these kinds of civic art projects.
